Mivan Inventory Protocol

  • All the existing surplus inventory of MIVAN shuttering materials of all sites are required to be stacked item/component wise after proper cleaning of materials.
  • Proper care should be taken at site during de-shuttering at work locations to avoid damage/denting of the materials In such case we may use old and used Vehicle Tyre which may be placed on floor below to ensure protection against direct hit to see surface.
  • Scrap, off cut panels (repairable panels), damaged panels and usable panels must be separated before the stacking process.
  • Dimensions of all components are required to be measured and to be marked by codes with temporary markings as per MFE codification system.
  • Soft copy of both the codified surplus inventory and presently under use materials along with modulation drawing have to be sent to centralized system formwork cell To be clarified later on.
  • Materials which have undergone modification during work process must notify to centralized system formwork cell in regular interval. Accordingly, the packing list shall be updated.
  • When the work is undergoing at the site and if there is any requirement for replacement or any new purchase of materials, site must inform to central formwork cell before the purchase So that the inventory of the site shall be updated.
  • Inventory area shall be under CCTV surveillance.
  • All the materials must be kept inside a boundary under lock and key.
  • Security personal must be deployed at inventory yard and desired places where the shuttering panels were stocked.
  • In/Out of all the materials issued from the inventory yard should be dispatched through Issue Slip/Gate Pass and to be registered in the Record Book at Yard.
  • None of the MIVAN plates shall not be used as conventional shuttering (alternative of ply).
  • MIVAN materials must be stacked on PCC or old plywood (directly not in contact with water or ground surface).
  • While piling up of materials, panels should be aligned allowing easy identification by code.
  • Ensure the first panel at the bottom of the stack has the contact face upwards.
  • In case of shortage of space, 2 layer storage should be done. Lighter materials should be stacked at upper level.
  • Labour should be well trained to stack the materials properly.
  • Stacking of MIVAN materials must be avoided from water logging area.
